Thanks!! Now I need to make a list from both Wanderin' Willy's AND Rick'n'Paulettes blog. Very helpful fellow RVers....this will be our first trek south from Ferndale, WA to San Diego, CA. Our trip in 2003 from San Diego (we lived east of S.D. ...in Alpine, CA) was in our truck (me driving) and our old C-Class (Brian driving)to Ferndale, WA. We had sold our property in Alpine, CA and purchased our property/home in Ferndale. Then we lived about a month in our C-Class waiting for the closing of our home and waiting for the tenants to move (we agreed they could stay for a month. We stayed at off I-5 and near Bellingham Airport. Wasn't bad at all really! A little cramped...with DH, me, and 2 dogs!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16896923244081902545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5713973769256971332.post-21354442387188235532009-10-15T13:02:52.903-07:002009-10-15T13:02:52.903-07:00As much as I like exploring new roads there is alw...As much as I like exploring new roads there is always something very comforting & secure in old familiar territory. We will take a familiar route in a couple weeks as well & for sure that eliminates some of the travel stress........Al Bossencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04307619781955351484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5713973769256971332.post-33181352731359264052009-10-15T09:02:38.364-07:002009-10-15T09:02:38.364-07:00Great info on your chosen routes... That is my pet peeve and I can hardly tolerate people who do not pick up their dogs poop... How nasty to leave it there for unsuspecting walkers to walk on... I always pick up my dogs poop no matter where I am... even rest areas on the interstate... It is just the right thing to do... OK sorry it just makes me so upset!

Have Fun & Travel Safe
Donnasquawmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06814752309515986976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5713973769256971332.post-81411877202816437802009-10-15T08:35:43.539-07:002009-10-15T08:35:43.539-07:00Willy, thanks for info on your trip south. We've haven't had to head out to the coast at Grant's Pass yet, but we've thought about it if the Siskiyou's get socked in. Two more weeks? Lucky you, we have about 2 more months to go.Rickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16523089898331291694noreply@blogger.com
